In September of 2008, Transformed Hearts Counseling Center opened its doors in the Heart to Heart Counseling Center building alongside Dr. Doug Weiss, Founder of the American Association of Sex Addiction Therapy. Cory Schortzman, our Executive Director, was immersed in the field of sex addiction and intimacy anorexia. During this time, Cory authored a number of recovery resources, Out of the Darkness and the Into the Light Series. His wife, Kerry, authored the Ashes to Beauty series. He also founded the Sexual Addiction Recovery Association. In January of 2014, Transformed Hearts opened an office in Denver.
In March of 2015, nearly 7 years later, Transformed Hearts ventured out of the umbrella of Heart to Heart. Our North Colorado Springs office was conveniently located at the corner of Baptist Road and Gleneagle Drive. There were multiple offices, a conference room, resource room, viewing room and a nice reception/waiting area along with a kitchenette.
In February of 2018, we moved our offices 30 minutes down South in Colorado Springs. We are now located near the intersection of Powers and Research. We hope this will be a more central location for our weekly support groups.
Transformed Hearts specializes in treating those suffering from the effects of sexual addiction, intimacy anorexia and the offended heart. Our clients are located throughout the world, as the majority of our services are provided via teleconference. We offer intensive outpatient programs, general counseling, group counseling, polygraphs, speaking engagements and supervision.
At Transformed Hearts, our goal is to change lives with the message of hope!
